We are pleased to share that De Pretto Industrie has been awarded by 2Valorise with an EPC contract for the supply of a New Steam System to be installed in Amel, Belgium.
2Valorise is the owner and operator of an existing production facility generating green heat and green electricity on an industrial scale in a 24/7 regime using waste biomass fuel. 2Valorise aims at valorizing end-of-life waste streams by transforming them into green energy and new materials. The end-of-life woody biomass is first mechanically transformed into a homogenous renewable fuel and then transformed into electricity, heat and new materials for the building and construction industry.
The Works assigned to De Pretto Industrie cover an essential part of the implementation of the New Steam System, consisting of the replacement of the existing steam turbine, gearbox, generator, oil skid, turbine control infrastructure and balance of plant. The New Steam System Amel 2 shall be integrated in the existing control infrastructure of the Amel Production Facility (which includes the boiler control as well).
